Artist Statement

Michelle Masters is a contemporary abstract painter investigating light as spatial architecture and perceptual threshold. Through layered veils and atmospheric compression, her work explores emergence, memory, and the threshold between presence and the unknown.

Her ongoing Luminosity Series traces a progression from embodied experience toward structural luminosity, positioning light not merely as illumination, but as organizing force—shaping space, suspending gravity, and holding tension between certainty and ambiguity.
